House returns to vote on the Senate’s Dec. 11 continuing resolution

The House is back for a brief four-day pre-Labor Day session and is expected to vote this week on the Senate-passed continuing resolution (90-6), which funds the government through Dec. 11 and adds SNAP/WIC, disaster-relief, and grant-withholding provisions.
